Sport, Entertainment and Nature. These are the three main themes of the Oristano OWC, the Watersports International event (Windsurf, Kiteboard, Stand Up Paddle, Surf) now at its tenth anniversary, that will bring back life in Torregrande and on the beaches of the coast of Oristano.
The Open Water Challenge is ready to celebrate its first, big achievement.
In September, in fact it will take place the tenth edition of this event, which will be even more important as Oristano is European City of Sports.
On this occasion, the Open Water Challenge aims at bringing to the Gulf of Oristano the biggest European champions. The main event, the Formula Kite European Championship 2019 will be the frame of the rich programme of sport activities, as well as the traditional Sinis Sup Marathon and the Windsurf Foil meeting.
The events will take place during the last two weekends of September, with the objective of extending the sport-tourism season. The organization team firmly believes that this increasingly growing sector could be an essential drive for the development of the local tourism industry.
